Our Wedding

This love story begins on a summer evening—July 25, 2024—at a happy hour supporting Dallas CASA, a cause close to both of our hearts as we are both members of Dallas CASA Young Professionals. The event was held at a little bar called Life is Good, and as it turns out, life was about to get very good. As the large group gradually thinned, we found ourselves continuing the night—sharing a Campisi's pizza at the bar at Time Out Tavern, deep in conversation. Unbeknownst to Wynn, Maddie was already texting her mom: “I just met my husband.” As Wynn now knows... Maddie is usually right. And this time, thankfully, she was! “When you know, you know” has never felt more true. From the very beginning, something felt different—what we were beginning to experience was a love that was unconditional. As Wynn puts it, he’s never met anyone as loyal and fun as Maddie. And Maddie would say she’s never met someone as genuinely good to their core as Wynn. God has truly blessed us with a love far greater than we could have ever imagined. From that night on, we haven’t spent much time apart. We've adventured together to New York, Nashville, Austin, Fredericksburg, Santa Fe, Sea Island, New Orleans, Charleston, and Jackson Hole—collecting memories (and probably a few too many photos of Charlie) along the way. Speaking of Charlie, one of our favorite milestones has been bringing home our sweet Cavalier puppy, who quickly stole both of our hearts—and most of the sofa, despite weighing only 20 pounds. We’re so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to celebrate it with all of you in the wild west town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming!

The Sylvan Lodge at the Snake River Sporting Club offers refined, rustic luxury just 20 minutes from downtown Jackson. Nestled in a serene, private setting surrounded by mountains, forest, and the Snake River, the lodge provides upscale accommodations with access to world-class amenities such as fly fishing, golf, hiking, and wellness facilities. Conveniently located on the same property as our wedding venue, The Sylvan Lodge makes it easy for guests to relax and enjoy the full wedding weekend without the need for additional travel. It’s an ideal option for those seeking comfort, convenience, and a true Jackson Hole experience. This resort has limited rooms, so we recommend booking early if you would like to stay here. Our room block is full, and the hotel is sold out from our guests (how exciting!). Home rentals are limited, but still available.

The Sylvan Lodge at Snake River Sporting Club

Formerly known as Snow King Resort, this property has recently been renovated and rebranded as Trailborn Jackson Hole. Nestled at the base of Snow King Mountain and just steps from downtown Jackson, the hotel offers beautifully updated accommodations with mountain-inspired design, easy access to Jackson’s restaurants and shops, and stunning views of the surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool and hot tub, on-site dining, and convenient access to nearby hiking, biking, and Jackson Hole attractions. Grand Teton National Park is also just a short drive away. Major airlines including American, Delta, and United offer direct flights from several U.S. cities (including Dallas). If flight options into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) do not align with your schedule, we recommend considering the nearest alternatives: Idaho Falls Regional Airport (approximately 90 miles, about a 2-hour drive) or Salt Lake City International Airport (approximately 280 miles, about a 4.5-hour drive) from Jackson Hole.

This lively, family-friendly event showcases classic Western thrills like bull riding, barrel racing, and bronc busting. It’s a fun and authentic way to kick off your time in Wyoming and get a taste of true cowboy culture.

For a true taste of the Wild West, don't miss the Bar T 5 Chuckwagon Dinner in Jackson Hole.
